Situation

This client had a number of disparate systems that held data relating to their customers, suppliers and location data. This inconsistencies of data structures, definitions and quality was hampering operations.

Solution

Symphony’s team designed and implemented an enterprise grade master data management (MDM) solution that created a single source of truth across the client’s Person and Entity domains. This included data modelling of their Party, Address and Reference data and integrations and workflows across a variety of data sources. Data was enhanced and validated during its ingestion into the system.

Implementation support including managing the initial data load of the full production dataset.

Symphony also provided testing support and classroom training for business users as well as the creation of training videos.

Results

A single source of truth in relation to our client’s customers, which enabled improved customer interactions and the elimination of errors relating to planning, activations and remediation.
